Viscous Material Transfer Heated Hose

Flexotherm™ Heated Hoses transfer viscous materials efficiently by using an integrated heating element to maintain a constant, elevated temperature. Heating these materials reduces their viscosity, allowing them to flow more easily and preventing them from solidifying or gelling inside the hose.

Reduced viscosity: The heating element warms the hose, which in turn heats the viscous material flowing inside. As the material’s temperature rises, its viscosity decreases, making it thinner and easier to pump through the hose.

Temperature regulation: A temperature controller monitors the process via the built-in sensor. It adjusts the heat output to maintain a constant temperature, protecting the fluid from overheating while also preventing it from cooling down and solidifying.

Insulation: The thermal insulation and outer jacket work together to trap heat inside the hose and prevent it from dissipating into the surrounding environment, ensuring consistent performance and energy efficiency.
