What Are Kapton / Polyimide Heaters?

 

Kapton® heaters are ultra-thin flexible heating elements made from etched-foil resistance circuits laminated between layers of polyimide film. The result is a durable, high-performance heater that provides accurate, even heat distribution across complex surfaces—all while maintaining a total thickness of just a few thousandths of an inch.

These heaters can be custom engineered to your exact requirements, including size, shape, voltage, wattage, and temperature control features.
