Keep DEF Flowing and Equipment Running in Any Weather
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is essential for reducing emissions in modern diesel engines — but it’s also highly susceptible to freezing in cold temperatures. When DEF freezes, it can block flow, damage pumps, and shut down your operation.
Our Flexotherm™ Heated DEF Hoses are engineered to maintain DEF at its optimal temperature, ensuring reliable flow and compliance even in sub-zero conditions. Designed for precision, durability, and compatibility with all DEF systems, these hoses deliver consistent performance year-round.
What Are Heated DEF Hoses?
Heated DEF hoses are temperature-controlled transfer hoses specifically built for urea-based fluids like Diesel Exhaust Fluid (32.5% urea solution). They integrate an electric heating element , combined with thermal insulation and a protective outer jacket, to prevent freezing while maintaining DEF purity and flow consistency.
They’re ideal for connecting DEF storage tanks, dispensers, pumps, and vehicle systems, whether in mobile refueling setups, bulk transfer systems, generators, or on-vehicle installations.
