Heated Ammonia Scrubber

The Flexotherm™ Heated Ammonia Scrubber is designed for diesel emissions testing, especially in systems using Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) where ammonia slip can occur.

It features a heated  stainless steel housing filled with a phosphoric acid-based media and ceramic saddles. As the diesel exhaust sample passes through, water vapor activates the media, generating phosphoric acid.

This reacts with ammonia in the sample, forming a stable ammonium phosphate, effectively removing NH₃ before NOx analysis. Heating ensures consistent performance and prevents condensation in the sampling line.
